Description
LOCKFEST SOUTH
LOCKFEST SOUTH is a relaxed, hands-on locksmith weekend for those who want to learn, connect, unwind and spend time with like-minded professionals from across the trade.
This is not a typical trade show where people collect a few brochures and leave. LOCKFEST is about practical learning, real conversations, shared experience, supplier engagement and the community spirit that makes the weekend memorable.
If you are passionate about locksmithing, professional development and being part of a supportive locksmith community, LOCKFEST SOUTH is the place to be.

Aim
The aim of LOCKFEST SOUTH is to build on the success of previous LOCKFEST events and continue creating opportunities for locksmiths to learn, develop and connect with others in the industry.
Our goal is to provide high-quality training, valuable knowledge sharing and a supportive environment that helps locksmiths build confidence, expand their skills and prepare for increasingly specialised work.
Training will be delivered by experienced industry professionals, safe engineers, suppliers and technical specialists who are passionate about helping others progress.
Objectives
CLS aims to provide a balance of practical training, professional development and social experience that benefits locksmiths, suppliers and business owners alike.
- Help less-experienced locksmiths develop valuable practical skills.
- Give locksmiths the confidence to take on more advanced and specialist jobs.
- Encourage stronger relationships between locksmiths, CLS partners and suppliers.
- Create a relaxed environment where suppliers can engage meaningfully with the trade.
- Support professionalism, peer-to-peer learning and long-term business growth.
Participation
Trading locksmiths
Due to the specialist nature of some training sessions, attendance requirements will apply to ensure training is delivered safely and responsibly.
CLS will carry out appropriate due diligence for attendees, which may include reviewing trading duration, company websites, online reviews, industry reputation and other relevant information.
All attendees will be appropriately vetted by CLS to ensure the training remains secure, professional and beneficial for everyone involved.
Apprentices and untrained individuals
Apprentices, untrained individuals and minors may be unable to participate in certain training sessions due to safety and security considerations.
They are still very welcome to attend the event, meet suppliers, take part in social activities and enjoy many of the other opportunities available throughout the weekend.
Instructors
Training will be delivered by highly experienced locksmiths, safe engineers, industry specialists and trusted suppliers, who collectively bring more than 200 years of hands-on experience across the locksmith and security sector.
Programme
Details are currently being finalised and will be published very soon.
Catering
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for attendees throughout the event, including Friday evening’s welcome meal.
- Saturday evening BBQ and social gathering.
- Breakfast options including tea, coffee, fruit juices, pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
- Cold lunches provided on Saturday and Sunday.
- Dietary requirements will be requested from attendees before the event.
Industry suppliers & CLS partners
LOCKFEST gives suppliers and locksmiths a chance to engage in a relaxed and informal environment.
CLS Partners and recognised industry suppliers will be attending throughout the weekend, providing demonstrations, answering questions and offering exclusive event deals that are often unavailable elsewhere.
This creates more meaningful conversations and stronger relationships than are typically possible at larger trade exhibitions.
